Chapter 3.3: Ice Sampling and Basic Sea Ice Core Analysis

• • p. 129, equation 3.3.4: A plus (+) sign is missing between the first number (1) and the second number (8) on the right-hand side of the equation.
• • p. 130, Table 3.3.1: The cell in the last column and the third row of the table should read –0.01074 instead of –0.0174.

Chapter 3.4: Thermal, Electrical, and Hydraulic Properties of Sea Ice

• • p. 143, equation 3.4.2: The equation is missing a T after the number 7.5 (the second term on the right-hand side of the equation), i.e., the equation should read:
        c = 2113 + 7.5T − 3.4S + 0.08ST + 18040S ⁄ T²
• • p. 145, equation 3.4.4: A set of parentheses is missing before the number 2.11 and the last term in the equation, i.e., the equation should read:
        k = (ρ ⁄ ρ_i) [2.11 − 0.011T + 0.09 S ⁄ T − 0.01(ρ − ρ_i)]
